ARREN
ARREN is a Dublin based, Limerick born artist who intends to blend the scale of iconic 90's rock bands with the intimacy of singer-songwriter, having inspirations including Radiohead, Oasis, Hudson Taylor and U2. ARREN also combines his music with strong visuals using lyric video visualisers, music videos and acoustic session videos, all of which accompany his new indie pop-infused rock single "It Takes One to Know", released in early July.

"It Takes One to Know" is an anthemic, summer rock hit that combines the highs of a sunny blurry holiday with friends with the lows of heartbreak in your early 20's. In this song, ARREN paints a picture of a rollercoaster emotion-filled summer. The captivating sound and the powerful vocals create an "out of time" atmosphere, perfect to forget the present and enjoy a time journey in the past summer holidays. The lyrics and the rhythm are fresh and catchy, and instrumentally it features great drums and rock guitars, melting faces in the choruses. These hard hitting rock-driven sounds are accompanied by dance-inducing pop verses that make it the perfect song to listen to on a sunny day driving with the car windows down and singing along at the top of your voice!

Commenting on the single, the emerging Irish artist said, "I hope this song teleports listeners to that one summer trip abroad where you drank a bit too much trying to forget about that one that got away. This song and my upcoming debut 12 track album, "Dark Earth" have been 5 years in the making and explore the ups and downs of your early 20s that I think all of us have in common. I’m looking forward to sharing "It Takes One to Know" with the world and taking listeners back to that messy but electrifying time in their life".

Don't miss the music video! Its concept is clever and cool, it made me chuckle a lot! Using the travel bag is such a fun idea, I just wonder if it was mistreated during the filming (lol) but I'll let you judge by yourself! You can find the amazing music video below. Produced by industry veteran Gary Duncan of Red Lake Studios and accompanied by Toby Shane Roys of Static Vision on instrumentation, "It Takes One to Know" promises to be a summer anthem. To celebrate the release, ARREN will be performing as a featured artist at a number of acoustic sessions across Dublin such as, Whelan's Song Cycle, The Zodiac Sessions and at 4 Dame Lane, both of which are free entry.

Drew Kiddoo and the Blackouts Drew Kiddoo And The Blackouts is a honky tonk country band based out of Ithaca , NY. Their unique blend of traditional country western, folk, and early rock and roll has captivated audiences across the region since they formed in 2018. Drew's songwriting is the heart and soul of the band. Vintz Desert Vintz Desert is an indie folk singer-songwriter located in Maryland. While serving in the Marine Corps, Vintz fine-tuned his craft and discovered his voice and passion for telling stories and sharing emotions through song. Mariano Mallia Singer/songwriter Mariano Mallia is a familiar face for those who have followed my blog for awhile. I talked about his inspiring and challenging story when he released his debut single "Don't Change" , after a vocal injury that stopped him from making music for years (you can read here ).  Mariano Mallia, who spent childhood summers visiting family members in Italy, says that it was in Italy that his passion for music was first born.  From those times, Mallia developed a deep appreciation for music, and ultimately decided to devote his life to music. However, the young singer’s pursuit was put to a halt in December of 2018 when he suddenly lost his voice.
