Vintz Desert Vintz Desert is an indie folk singer-songwriter located in Maryland. While serving in the Marine Corps, Vintz fine-tuned his craft and discovered his voice and passion for telling stories and sharing emotions through song. He released his debut EP "Through the smoke; a liar" when he was still in the middle of his military contract and didn't know anything about music industry. The EP features his top streaming song "Love in Boston". Then he relocated to the east coast where he opened up for folk rock band Oliver Hazard. He can be described as "beautifully melancholic" and focuses on direct relatable stories. His soft-spoken and raspy voice transfers his pain and experiences from him to his audience, and enters into a symbiotic relationship with them.  He just released his latest EP "The Blue Journal" on May 20th, an introspective and soft jouney through his feelings. His music has been mind-blowing for me since the very first

News: Phil Robinson & Victor V. Gurbo make their Carnegie Hall debuts!

The name "Carnegie Hall" is enough to give goosebumps to every music lover - even to me, an Italian who has never been in US! That's why I'm incredibly happy that two friends of Laura Meets Musicians are going to make their debut at such a legendary venue. Phil Robinson and Victor V. Gurbo will perfom at the "Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall", presented by Roomful of Sky Records, on June 2nd! The "Weill Recital Hall" is usually used for chamber music, while the main hall is used for orchestra concerts (both of these stages have been in use since the Carnegie Hall opened in 1891!). The show will be each performer's first full-scale in-person concert since Roomful of Sky's 2019 end-of-year celebration at famed rock club The Bowery Electric, and their first double-bill concert in a friendship and ongoing musical collaboration spanning over 11 years . With their respective players, Robinson and Gurbo will perform spirited renditions of thei

Despite never turning his guitar right-side up, Rory’s unique contemplative sound has propelled him on to perform at some of the nation’s most distinguished venues and festivals from Mercury Lounge and Rockwood Music Hall in New York, Hotel Cafe and The Viper Room in Los Angeles, and The Atlantic City Beer & Music Festival in his home state of New Jersey. His penchant for evocative and vulnerable storytelling has earned him international radio airplay, opening slots for The Early November, Knuckle Puck, American Idol Winner Lee DeWyze, Actor/Musician Drake Bell, and John Corabi of Mötley Crüe/The Dead Daisies, and has garnered praise from the likes of American Songwriter and Atwood Magazine.  This
